Problem Note 62904: Performance statistics are not generated for jobs that are run in SAS® Data Integration Studio 4.903

In SAS Data Integration Studio, when you run a job with the Collect Runtime Statistics option selected, job statistics should be generated and displayed on the Statistics tab within the Details section. However, statistics are not generated on this tab under this scenario in SAS Data Integration Studio 4.903. Instead, you see “Performance statistics unavailable” in the Details section.
Workaround
Make the following change to the logconfig.xml file that is associated with the SAS® Workspace Server.
- Make a backup copy of the existing logconfig.xml file. The default location for this file is SAS-configuration-directory/Lev1/SASApp/WorkspaceServer.
- Open the original logconfig.xml file in a text editor.
- Locate the following line within the file:
<appender name="WSLogAppender" class="sLogAppender"> - After that appender line, insert the following parameter line:
<param name="level" value="Info"/> - Save the change to the logconfig.xml file.
Statistics should appear in the SAS Data Integration Studio client after you make this change.
Note: If a different logconfig file is referenced by the SAS Workspace Server (logconfig.apm.xml or logconfig.trace.xml, for example), you need to add the additional parameter line to that file. The same instructions apply.
